CHINESE GENERAL SHOT FOR MARRYING.
WAR TIME BAN DEFIED.
LONDON, December 6.
The Shanghai correspondent of the “Daily Mail” reports that General Wang Kaonan. commanding the Ningpo garrison, was shot for defying the Chinese wartime regulations by marrying. He was arrested in the middle of his wedding feast, and executed the next day by a firing squad.
