TENDERS FOR LEASE. rpENDERS are hereby called for the X Lease, for a term of twenty-one (21) years, from the Ist day of January, 1939, of the farming property situated about two and a half miles from Eketahuna, on the Mangaone Valley Road, containing 748 acres 13 perches, more or less, and comprising sections 25, 30, 31, 32, 33 and 34, Block VI., Mangaone Survey District, the property of the Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Masterton. A dwelling-house and car-shed will be erected on the property by the lessor at a cost not exceeding £2OOO. When these are ready for occupation the rent tendered will be increased annually by 5% of their cost. Plans, and Conditions of Tender (for purposes of identification dated the 21st day of November, 1938, and signed by the Town Clerk), may be inspected at the Office of the Town Clerk. Chapel Street, Masterton, and at the offices of “The Pahiatua Herald,” Pahiatua, and “The Eketahuna Express,” Eketahuna, at any time during office hours. Tenders must be enclosed in sealed envelopes addressed to “The Town Clerk,” Masterton, and endorsed “Tender for Lease,” and must be in the hands of the Town Clerk not later than 10 a.m. on THURSDAY, the 22nd day of December, 1938.
