PRIZE-GIVING SERVICE

ST ALBAN’S CHURCH. CHILDREN’S MARVELLOUS RECORD. St Alban’s Church, Taueru, was packed to the doors on Sunday for the annual prize-giving service of the Taueru Sunday School. St Matthew’s choir rendered a selection of Christmas carols very beautifully. The Rev E. J. Rich spoke on the work of the Sunday school and congratulated the children on their marvellous record for perfect attendance. After the service the visitors were hospitably entertained at “Hapua,” the residence of Mr and Mrs W. R. Birch.
