It is announced that £1,819,000 of the British £ 10,000,000-credit' is to be devoted to buying 11 mercantile steamers from the firm of Swan, HUnter and Wigham Richardson, and £1.500,000 for the purchase of 41 English locomotives and 200 freight cars.
