In a fifteen rounds boxing contest for the world’s coloured middleweight championship the American, Ossie Stewart (11.4) knocked out the Jamaican, Sid Brown (11.4). In the second round Brown's jaw was fractured by a terrific right hand punch and Brown remained in a halfkneeling position while the referee counted him out.
