SOLWAY RAINFALL. , FIGURES FOR NOVEMBER. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that rain was measured at Solway on 12 days in November. The maximum fall was 118 points on November 3, and the minimum 1 point on the 21st and 25th. The total for the month was 2.94 inches as against 1.74 (1937-, 2.68 (1936), 4.38 (1935), 1.92 (1934), 1.28 (1933); average for 35 years 2.91 inches. The total rainfall for the eleven months is 42.38 inches, as compared with 30.91 (1937), 40.97 (1936), 44.22 (1935), 34.44 (1934), 30.13 (1933); average for 35 years 36.68 inches. General situation: Since yesterday, although an anticyclone of slight intensity is advancing across the north Tasman Sea a fresh series of disturbances has been advancing across the north Tasman and pressure is still very low in the south.
