WOOL MARKET
SYDNEY SALES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copj'right SYDNEY, December 5. The wool sales were resumed today under strong competition from the Continent and Yorkshire and much improved buying by Japan. Prices were very firm, with excellent clearances.
A record price was secured for fleece and lambs’ wool, which made 23|d. Of 11.178 bales offered, 10.230 were sold; also 1554 privately.
