GAMES LAST SATURDAY OPENING OF SECOND ROUND. TIER BATS WELL FOR COLLEGE. The second round of the Wairarapa Cricket Association’s senior championship commenced on Saturday last. The outstanding features of the contests were excellent batting displays by Tier for College and W. Peterson for Red Star, and the bowling of Hatton for Old Boys against Lansdowne.
