RETURN TO RELIGION
“Religion is far us still at the helm Of the ship of State,” said the Rev C. Gordon Mackenzie, in a recent address. “The brave slogan, government of the people , for the people and by the people is only safe and profitable as a political creed when the great Demos personally accepts the responsibility of the care and keeping of his own immortal soul as a definite charge from Almighty God. Nothing but a return to religion can save the world.”
