NOTES ON COMPETITORS. By “Spikes.” A Welpy has made his appearance on the track and appears to be getting into form. J. Wickens is starting ih sprint events this season, and should improve with training. N. Rippon is showing good form for his first season on the track. J. McKay, who made his first appearance this season, seems to have a bit too much weight. Training will remedy this. A. Curtis is showing imptoveirient this year in field events, and is always a trier. The starter is at the Park every Sunday mbrhing, and competitors should practice starting with him.
