LY MEETING.

. (“Times-Age” Special.) monthly meeting of the Greyx'rust Lands Trust was held last ig-.. Those present were Messrs H. G. Carter (chairman), F. Dennes, W. H. Day, E. Graham. H. J. Nightingale. A. Waldin, and the secretary (Mr B. Kiernan). Two tenders were submitted for repairs to a house. These were held over for alterations to the conditions. Messrs C. E. Daniell and Co wrote regarding trees on the reserve. It was decided to ask their .representative to consult with the trustees on the spot.. The secretary reported that several of the seven year leases would expire at the end of the year. These will be put up for auction in January. GRADY MEDALS. RETAINED BY GREYTOWN. The Martinborough pair, Messrs Green and J. Larsen, journeyed to Greytown last .evening to play a challenge gain.e for the Grady Medals. The game was full of interest from the start and some splendid heads were registered. The final score was 20/17 in, favour of the holders Messrs Connolly and Carter. Drunkenness Charge. A first offender appeared before Mi' H. G. Carter, J.P., at Greytown, on a charge of having been drunk. He was convicted and discharged. Vital Statistics. The vital statistics for November are: Births 1, marriages 2, deaths 3. Rainfall Record. In November 382 points of rain were registered in Greytown, against 280 points in the same month last year. Rain fell on 11 days (6 in November last year). The heaviest fall was 113 points on November 2. Personal. Mrs Pope, senr, of Main Street, is at present an inmate of the Greytown hospital. Lamb & Calf Judging. The judging of lambs and calves will take place at the Greytown District High School on Monday.morning.
