The “Daily Telegraph’s” Berlin correspondent says the secret police, alarmed at signs of dissatisfaction, have arrested throughout Germany fifty people prominent in political life, who are likely to be charged with preparing high treason by encouraging "workers’ grousing campaigns.” Those arrested include Dr. Luppe, a former Lord Mayor of Nuremberg, Herr Franz Kuenstler, a former chairman of the Social-Democratic Party, Dr. Herman Brill, and Herr Otta Brass, former Social Democratic deputies. Most of those arrested have previously been in concentration camps.
