Best Fjord in the World.
“Milford Sound is the best fjord in the world —I know, because I have seen them all,” said Signor Piero Ghiglione, an Italian journalist and mountaineer, in an interview in Christchurch. For scenery, he said, Milford Sound was far superior to the Norwegian fjords, where the glaciers and mountains were far away from the water.
