Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph, 30.27; shade temperature, maximum 75.4, minimum 45.3; terrestrial 37.8. Sunshine, 8 hours, 18 minutes. MASTERTON WEATHER. RECORD FOR NOVEMBER. Miss Brown reports that during November 3.03 inches of rain fell in Masterton on 13 days. The highest fall was 1.21 inches on November 2, and the lowest .01 points on November 20, 21 and 22. General situation: Pressure is still relatively high over northern New Zealand but has fallen at Chatham Island, and is now falling in the south; a depression covers the Tasman Sea. Forecast, light to moderate but gradually freshening north-westerly winds; weather cloudy and warm with some scattered but mainly light rains, chief'ly about and west of the ranges.
