ICE-RINK IS A FEATURE
IN “BREAKING THE ICE.”
The inside workings of. a modern ice-rink are revealed for the first time in “Breaking The Ice,” the newest Bobby Ereen musical romance with comedy, which will open at the State Theatre tomorrow. Bobby Breen, as a scraper-boy, runs into exciting adventure and more than his share of fights when he becomes entranced by the skating of six-year-old Irene Dare, the “baby skating marvel,” who makes her screen bow in this picture, in an impressive ice revue. Adult supporting players in the cast include Charlie Ruggles, an antique dealer with a grasping nature, Dolores Costello, whti plays the star’s mother; Robert Barrat, Dorothy Peterson, Billy Gilbert and Charlie Murray.
