The, Premier, M Spaak, announced that Belgium is discontinuing participation in the Non-Intervention Committee and is negotiating with a view to representation at Burgos. ADMIRAL RESIGNS. HOLLAND’S PARTICIPATION NOT AFFFECTED. (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, November 29. Admiral Van Dulm has resigned the chairmanship of the Non-Intervention Board, due to personal reasons. This action will not affect Holland's participation. SWEDEN NEXT CONCERN OVER WITHRDAWALS. COMMITTEE MAY QUIETLY DISAPPEAR. (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) LONDON, November 29. The Australian Associated Press says that in addition to Belgium’s action, Sweden has advised her intention of withdrawing her representative from the chairman’s sub-committee of the Non-Intervention Committee. Similar action by other small powers is possible. Official circles do not conceal their concern at the withdrawals, from which disturbing conclusions can be drawn.
It is stated that there is no cause for any change in the English and French views, but the possibility has arisen that the committee will quietly disappear.
