BATTLE WITH ARABS
HAND=TO=HAND ENCOUNTER NEAR HAIFA CASUALTIES ON BOTH SIDES. TWO BRITISH SOLDIERS KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) JERUSALEM, November 29. Two British soldiers were killed, two seriously wounded and five slightly wounded, in a hand-to-hand battle with Arabs south from Haifa. Twenty-six Arabs were killed. Heavy fighting is continuing. Lance-Corporal McCallum was fatally injured in a land-mine explosion at Tulkarem.
