MEETING AT MASTERTON. DRAW FOR VARIOUS EVENTS. 1 Splendid nominations have been received for the opening greyhound racing meeting to be held at the Solway Showgrounds, Masterton, next Saturday. Noted dogs from all parts of the North Island will compete, including the ■ present Wanganui champion, Grand Mogul. Coursing supporters will note that two Waterloo Cup winners for 1937 and 1938 (Rereatu and The Clipper) will be competing in the Wairarapa Cup. Another noted starter in the Wairarapa Cup will be Golden King, who with Rereatu divided the Waterloo Plate at Invercargill last year. The public should not miss this opportunity of seeing Puketoi Magic, New Zealand’s outstanding hurdler in action. His graceful style and easy action are a pleasure to watch.
