ANOTHER APPEAL TO PARENTS. £231 OUTSTANDING IN FEES. Another appeal to parents to respect their liabilities to the Masterton Dental Clinic is made by the committee. Parents are urged to meet their cutstanding dues as soon as possible and thus assist the committee in its task of conducting the clinic. At the last meeting of the committee, over which the chairman. Mr Alex Donald, presided, payments of £2O Ils 3d to the Department of Health and of £2O 16s to the Trust Lands Trust, both for the period up to September 30, were approved. The secretary, Mr W. V. Madden, reported that after meeting these commitments a credit balance of £l2 12s 4d would remain. _ Reporting on the financial position generally, Mr Madden said that although the response of parents had been somewhat better than that of last year, there was still a sum of £231 15s outstanding. The committee expressed its deep disappointment at the lack of assistance which was forthcoming from the parents. The nurses reported as follow:— Total number of operations carried out: August, 847; September, 1188; October, 1111.
