SYDNEY SALES. PRICES VERY FIRM. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY, November 21. ’ The wool sales were resumed today under strong competition, chiefly from the Continent and Yorkshire, with restricted buying by Japan. The market was very firm. Greasy merino made 21|d. Offerings totalled 12,510 bales, of which 11,500 were sold, also 1400 privately. The average price of wool in Sydney in the last week was £l4 0s lid a bale, or 11.2 d a lb.
