DRIVER FATALLY INJURED

LORRY CRASHES INTO CREEK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, November 21. .Mr H. Broadbent, driver of a milk supply lorry in the Terehunga-Kiri-taki area, died at 2.45 this afternoon from injuries received when his lorry went off the road, crashed into a creek and turned over. The accident occurred this morning two miles past the Kiritaki factory, when Mr Broadbent was delivering milk to Maharahara West School. It is thought that the lorry was caught by an exceptionally heavy gust of wind in the gale which was blowing at the time.
