ON LINES OF ELLIS ISLAND ORGANISATION IN FRANCE. CHECK ON ENTRY OF ALIENS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) PARIS, November 20. The Government is organising a series of frontier stations on the lines of the United States Ellis Island, in order to check the inflow of alien undesirables. Refugees will be detained and the cost of their upkeep defrayed by doubling the price of foreigners’ identity cards, as provided in the new decrees.
