THEFT OF JEWELLERY
BIG HAUL MADE IN LONDON KEYS TAKEN FROM CLERK IN SUBURBS (Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, November 20. Scotland Yard is investigating a theft of jewels, valued at £lO,OOO to £15.000 from a manufacturing jeweller. A clerk stated that four men attacked him near his home in the suburbs, and stole his keys, leaving him bound and gagged in a disused garage while they rifled the shop.
