Mrs V. Wilton, Pahiatua, has as her guest, her sister, Miss N. Fenwick, of Martinborough. Mrs Gray, of Hawera, is visiting Mrs H. P. Hansen, Alfredton. 1 Mrs H. J. Francis, Renall Street, Masterton, is visiting Napier. Mrs' H. Matthewson, of Palmerston North, is visiting Miss Hogg, Church Street, Masterton. Miss Nell Cohen, left Masterton on Saturday to take up her residence in New Plymouth. Miss Margaret Brittain, who has been the guest of Mrs Barton at Masterton, has returned to Eketahuna. The many friends of Mrs A. Chambers, of Hastwells, will regret to learn that she has found it necessary to enter the Pahiatua Hospital for treatment. Mr and Mrs Blake, of Hacker Street, have returned to Masterton after a motor trip, in the course of which they were the guests of Mrs Blake’s daughter, Mrs Munro, of Apiti. ENGAGEMENT The engagement is announced of Zona, only daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Haworth, College Street, Wanganui, to Norman Bernard Hamilton, only son of Mrs Avery and the late Mr N. L. Avery, of “Brightflelds,” Pahiatua.
