MUTTON SHIPMENTS FROM ICELAND. During the week ended October 21. 1170 vessels, representing 1,022,580 net register tons, used the Port of London. Of these, 539 vessels (810,598 net register tens) were to and from Empire and foreign ports and 631 vessels (211,982 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included seven meat cargoes, viz.: two from Australia, two from New Zealand, one from Iceland and two from South America, comprising 179,060 carcases of lamb and mutton, 32,000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork, rabbits and sundries. Thirty timber laden vessels docked in the Surrey Commercial and India and Millwall Docks with 46,000 tons of softwood. Seventy-three vessels totalling 657,827 gross register tons used the Tilbury Landing Stage during September.
