» ~ CROYDON TO LE BOURGET IN FIFTY MINUTES. PERFORMANCE OF BRITISH MACHINE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) RUGBY, November 18. A Spitfire fighter, one of two aircraft to be exhibited on the Royal Air Force stand at an aeronautical exhibition in Paris next week, flew from Croydon to Le Bourget, in unfavourable weather, in fifty minutes, which is the fastest time recorded between London and Paris.
