WOOL MARKET
♦ DUNEDIN SALE CATTALOGUE WILL NOT BE FILLED (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, November 18. Though the first local wool sale is a month distant it is already apparent that the allocation of 24,000 bales will not be filled. Shearing is under way, but two factors hindering the work are broken weather and a pronounced shortage of blade shearers. Some of the new season’s wool has reached the stores the quality appears good but the wool is somewhat lighter in conditions than in previous years.
