4 KING CAROL AND HIS HEIR IN LONDON CORDIAL PUBLIC WELCOME By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m?) LONDON, November 15. The Duke of Kent met King Carol of Rumania and Prince Michael at Dover. A fog delayed their crossing 50 minutes. King George cordially welcomed his visitors at Victoria Station. Thousands of people cheered their Majesties en route to Buckingham Palace. A British Official Wireless message states that a large crowd gave King, Carol and Prince Michael an enthusiastic welcome. King George was in a Feld-Marshal’s uniform and King Carol wore the gorgeous blue and gold naval uniform of Rumania. On arrival at Buckingham Palace King George led his Royal visitors to the Bow Saloon, where the Queen greeted them. The Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret were presented.
