MR ANTHONY EDEN’S ADVOCACY PARTIES URGED TO CONSULT. (Received This Day, 1.45 p.m.) 3y Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, November 14. Mr Anthony Eden, in a speech at the Oxford University Carlton Club, urged that there should be consultation between the political parties with the aim of reaching agreement on the great issues confronting the nation, not only in regard to foreign policy and defence, but to improved conditions for the people. Mr Eden said: “Many feel that the future for the British people was never more menacing.”
