COSY THEATRE

“O’MALLEY OF THE MOUNTED.”

An action-crammed story of the great outdoors from the pen of the man who towered as the silent scren’s greatest adventure star; a two-fisted, hard-riding characterisation by the ever-popular George O’Brien, Hollywood’s leading outdoor star. There in brief is the story of the tingling excitement, roaring drama and tender romance contained in “O’Malley of the Mounted,” the new Fox adventure drama which comes tonight to the Cosy Theatre. William S. Hart wrote the story, the same “Two-Gun” Bill Hart who for so long reigned as the screen’s supreme adventure star. And in it O’Brien essays his first role as a Royal Canadian Mounted officer, a champion of justice who carries the law into the wilderness. A crashing rapid-fire climax sends the outlaws off to their much-deserved prison sentences and makes a romantic close possible for O’Brien and Miss Ware. Vic Potel is featured in the chief comedy role, and James Bush and Reginald Barlow are prominent in the supporting cast. Crime-land’s vicious new menace is revealed in “Human Cargo, ” the thrilling Fox picture coming tonight to the Cosy Theatre with Claire Trevor and Brian Donlevy heading an outstanding cast that includes Alan Dinehart, Ralph Morgan, Helen Troy and Rita Cansino.
