A doctor states that there are fewer women sopranos since women started smoking. That's the greatest argument we’ve heard in favour of women smoking.
An interesting event will take place at the Salvation Army Hall tonight at 8 o’clock, featuring an Indian wedding evening. Adjutant Hutchins, from India, will be in charge of the proceedings. The bridal party will arrive at the hall at 8 o’clock. In the concert which will follow, selected items will be given by some of Masterton’s leading artists. Admission is free.
