INFLATION DANGERS

POSITION IN NEW ZEALAND VIEWS OF LONDON WRITER By Telegraph—" Tess Association—Copyright. LONDON, November 12. Mr H. V. Hodson, editor of the “Round Table” in an article in the “Financial News,” referring to New Zealand’s future under Labour, draws attention, first, to the strain on her financial capacity which is likely to result regarding her overseas exchange, and secondly, to the flow of her imports in excess of her current means of payment. Mr Hodson adds that outsiders, viewing New Zealand’s affairs, need not fear Socialism as such, as the real cause for anxiety lies in the chances of internal inflation in a country dependent, as few others are, on external trade for finance.
