DEATH OF CHILD
AFTER DRINKING KEROSENE. A Maori child aged two, Mervyn Flutey, died in the Masterton Hospital this afternoon from the effects of poisoning from kerosene. The child, whose parents reside at Pukio, Featherston. is stated to have drunk kerosene out of a tin, during the temporary absence of its mother. An inquest will be held.
