The Palestine Defence Committee has issued a manifesto threatening a general Arab insurrection if the Woodhead report is implemented, adding that Britain and the Arabs alone must settle the dispute and that the Jews and the League of Nations are not qualified to interfere. MORE DISORDERS. BOMBING AND SABOTAGE. (Received This Day, 11.35 a.m.) JERUSALEM, November 11. The High Commissioner reports that a plane made a forced landing near Nablus and the pilot was injured during an engagement with rebels. There has been some recrudescence of sniping, bombing and sabotage. Six warplanes parachuted food to two Arab villages marooned by. flood in the region north from Nablus. JEWISH DEMANDS. FULFILMENT OF BRITISH PROMISES. (Received This Day, 12.55 a.m.) LONDON, November 11. Doctor Chiam Weizmann, opening the Zionist General Council, declared that the Palestine report showed a little understanding ; of the Jewish tragedy. The anti-Jew forces had failed in their attempt to deviate Britain from the policy of the Balfour declaration and. the mandate. The task of Jewry was to achieve the fulfilment of British promises and a realisation of Jewish rights in Palestine.
