TRADE IN RUBBER
OTTAWA, Canada, While Canada’s imports of raw rubber in August were valued at 745,000 dollars, coming mainly from the British Straits Settlements, Canadian exports of manufactured rubber goods during that month were valued at: I, dollars. These consisted main-j ly of rubber tires and rubber footwear. Pneumatic rubber casings to the value of 633,652 dollars went to 72 different' countries. Rubber inner tubes were shipped to 64 different countries to a. value of 61,164 dollars. Boots and shoes of rubber were valued at 582.339 dollars, canvas shoes with rubber soles at 82,937 dollars, belting of rubber at 50,072 dollars, hose of rubber at 24,170 dollars, clothing of rubber at 39,512 dollars, copper wire and cable (insulated), at 63,148 dollars, . rubber heels at 12.225 dollars, and rubber soles at 11, dollars.
