PAHIATUA SALE Messrs Dalgety and Co Ltd, report having held their week sale at Pahiatua yesterday, when they offered a medium yarding of station cattle. The attendance was poor, there being no buyers present from outside districts. Nevertheless a total clearance was made at prices well up to ruling rates. Quotations: —3 year, P.A. steers, £8 12s! 2-year, P.A. steers, £7 12s; yearling, P.A. steers, £5 to £5 8s; yearling P.A. heifers, £3 3s; P.A. cows, r.w.b. £4 19s; fat heifer, £6 15s.
