BYELECTION IN CANADA
SOCIAL CREDIT VICTORY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 1.0 p.m.) EDMONTON (Alberta), November 8. The Aberhardt Social Credit Government retained the seat at a byelection in Athabasca, necessitated by the death of Mr Charles Ross. The Social Credit candidate, Mr C. H. Tade, was elected with a majority of 200 over the Liberal candidate.
