Commenting on fishing prospects in the Taupo and Rotorua districts after a three-day tour of the area, the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon W. E. They told me that on the average the fish were more numerous than for the last 20 years, but qualified their statements by saying that the' fish, were harder to catch, because they were apparently better fed than in other years.”
