MAN MISSING

RESIDENT OF UPPER PLAIN.

POLICE MAKING SEARCH

It was reported to the police at Masterton last night that a man named Patrick Joseph Curley, labourer, of Upper Plain, had' been missing from his bach since Friday last. A search was immediately instituted by the poliec and a bicycle and cap believed to belong to, the missing man were found on the bank of a creek near the property of Mr J. H. Payton, “Brookfield,’’ Mt Bruce Road.'

Mr Curley is about 40 years of age, 6ft 2in in height and about 15 stone in weight. His hair is turning grey, and when last seen he was wearing a blue suit and cap. The. police were engaged all today in a further search for the missing man.
