SAVAGE CLUB

CONCERT ON SATURDAY NIGHT. The “Charge of Savagery” is to “foster the art of the singer, the story-tel-ler, the painter of pictures, and the player upon cunning instruments.” That this is completely fulfilled by the Masterton Savage Club will be proved at its Concert in the Opera House next Saturday evening. Concerning the players upon cunning instruments,” the Club is proud of its capable, well-bal-anced orchestra of ten members excellently trained by the musical director, Savage C. W. Kerry. This fine band will provide tuneful and spirited interludes as well as the material for some unusually interesting instrumental solos and trios.
