NEW PROFESSOR APPOINTED. DEVELOPMENT AT VICTORIA COLLEGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Dr Lipson, B.A. (Oxon), Ph.D. (Chicago) has been selected by Victoria University College, Wellington, to be the first Professor of the new Department of Political Science and Public Administration. He has accepted an appointment and has been approved by the University of New Zealand as a Professor of the University. It will be Dr Lipson’s task to organise the' new department, but he will have the assistance of a special lecturer in public administration yet to be appointed, and the staffs oi the existing departments of law, commerce, history aid philosophy Dr Lipson, who is married, expects to reach New Zealand early 1 next year.
