BUSINESS ON DOMINION EXCHANGES DETAILS OF YESTERDAY’S SALES The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges yesterday:—
GOLD MINING RETURNS
The following information has been cabled to the London office of the Martha ' Gold Mining Company (Waihi) Limited: —For the period ended October 22, comprising 20 crushing days, 16,783 tons of ore were crushed for a result of 4307 fine ounces of gold and 29,237 fine ounces of silver. No 3 level: Driving east on the lode, in the next 45 feet the reef has split up and the drive has holed to No 2 shaft, southeast crosscut. We are now resuming the Lovett south crosscut. Talisman Dubbo Gold Mines, Ltd, reports that for the fortnight ended October 29, 143 tons realised £l9l at £7 12s an ounce. The Clutha River dredge return for the week ended Friday, was 100 ounces of gold for 133 hours. The Mataki dredge return for the week ended November 6 was 51 ounces for 125 hours’ work and 9900 cubic yards.
