MASTERTON-OPAKI CLUB WIN FOR RIFLEMAN PICKERING Keen competition and an improved standard of shooting prevailed at Saturday’s competition, the first 11 marksmen averaging 47.12 points per range. C. M. Pickering with a 6 “bull” finish at 500 yards was the winner counting out I. Sutherland with 143, who for the second consecutive competition failed to reach first place for the same reason.
