PETROL=LADEN SHIP DESTROYED BLAZE SPREADS TO LIGHTER AT MARSEILLES , ONE PERSON FEARED DEAD AND SEVERAL INQUIRED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. MARSEILLES, November 5. One person is feared to be dead and several are injured as the result of a fire which destroyed the British vessel Stanburgh. The crew of the vessel are safe. The casualties occurred among the crew of a lighter to which the fire spread after an explosion in a cargo of petrol to be shipped to Barcelona. The lighter’s crew jumped overboard. One is missing and five are in hospital. The Stanburgh was towed away and run aground outside the harbour, where she burned all night.
