PEACE OVERTURE

GRAND MUFTI’S REPORTED ACTION. ( ON BEHALF OF ALL ARABS. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, November 4. The Australian Associated Press understands that the Mufti of Jerusalem has made peace overtures. It is stated that he is authorised to speak on behalf of all Arabs and has guaranteed peace if Britain will give an assurance that there will be no further migration of Jews to Palestine. The development is most important and may lead to an early official announcement. There is little doubt that the partition policy will be abandoned.
