HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING
LOUIS TO DEFEND TITLE.
AGAINST JOHN HENRY LEWIS.

It is announced that Joe Louis will defend his world heavyweight boxing title against John Henry Lewis at Madison Square Gardens on January 27. The bout will be of 11 rounds. It will be the first all-negro heavyweight championship m history. The challenger recently announced his entry into the heavyweight class because of his inability to pare down to the 1751 b. limit.
