FOREIGN POLICY

BRITAIN & DOMINIONS CONSTANT INFORMATION CONFERENCE DECISIONS OBSERVED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) LONDON, November 1. In the House of Commons the Secretary for the Dominions, Mr Malcolm MacDonald, said that, in accordance with Imperial conference decisions, the Dominion Governments were constantly informed by telegraph of the Government’s foreign policy, and the information at its disposal. As an illustration of the development of the system, 398 circular telegrams, dealing with foreign affairs, were sent to the Dominions in 1938, of which 150 were sent in September. He added that no action had been taken without consultation with the Dominions where consultations would be proper.
