The Government announces the resignation of the Honourable Randolph Bruce, who was appointed Canadian Minister at Tokio in 1936. .In the last session of the House of Commons Opposition members alleged that Mr Bruce displayed partiality towards Japan in addresses regarding the hostilities in China.
