RESULTS OF PRELIMINARY EVENTS. SEVERAL RECORDS ESTABLISHED. In order to lighten the programme on the main sports day, which is Thursday next a number of events have been held at Wairarapa College during the last few days. This being the first sports of the new college, standards have been fixed in each championship event. When the standard time, distance or height is bettered it is registered as a record for Wairarapa College. Already six records have been established. In the senior championship events, B.
