CONDITIONS IN CHINA

VISITOR HAS A VIVID STORY. The Rev. C. W. McDonall, who has been working in North China for the past 20 years, will visit Masterton tomorrow. Mr McDonall, who was born at Timaru, is a noted speaker and has a vivid and arresting story to tell of his work and of present conditions in China. He will speak at a social gathering in the Epiphany Hall tomorrow at 2.30 p.m., and at a public meeting in St. Matthew’s Parish Hall at 8 p.m. All interested in the present far-reach-ing events in China are invited to be present. Admission is free but a collection will be taken up for the mission work.
